The LRDA was the agency set up to coordinate the redevelopment of London Road and  Pembroke Place during the City Challenge Initiative 1992 to 1997.

Most of the Georgian properties shown were demolished in 1994.

The Beatles collarless suits  were made at the premises on the right of the picture with "Closing down " on the windows.
